HATHA YOGA FOR ALL

The class focuses on the release of physical and mental tension. The class begins with a few minutes of centering, taking the time to settle into your space and connect with the breath. Asanas, also known as poses, teach alignment as well as strengthen and cleanse the body. The class continues with some gentle poses to warm and increase the flexibility of the body in preparation for deeper postures. The flow of the class is steady and meditative, creating an over-all sense of well being. Students are encouraged to work at a personal level to enhance the experience of each individual. The class ends with a short period of deep relaxation.

CLASS TIME:
Thursdays 9:00-10:15 a.m. -- eight week class session 10/16/08 - 12/4/08 (no class on Thanksgiving)
